Wine tasting and pairing dinner at Bodegas José Pariente: inherited passion, Verdejo with soul

On Tuesday, June 17, at Vinology Zurbano, we will enjoy an evening dedicated to the most refined expression of Verdejo, guided by one of the most emblematic wineries and its third generation, Martina Prieto Pariente from the D.O. Rueda.

José Pariente, a passionate winegrower, began making white wines in the 1960s with a clear vision: to capture the authenticity of his land and elevate the Verdejo grape to its highest expression. Decades later, his daughter Victoria Pariente took up that dream and turned it into an innovative reality, honoring her father and his traditions.

Today, the new generation—Martina and Ignacio Prieto Pariente—continues the family legacy with the same commitment and an eye on the future: research, sustainability, and a constant search for purity and precision in every wine. Their work also extends to new horizons with the Viñedos Singulares project, focused on making wines with a strong parcel identity, and A Vilerma, their winery in the D.O. Ribeiro, where they deepen their connection with the landscape and native Galician varieties.

During this exclusive pairing dinner, we will be joined by Martina Prieto Pariente, who will personally guide us through the history and wines of the winery. We will explore the diversity and depth of their collection of whites: from the freshest and most varietal versions to complex and aged wines. We will also enjoy a selection of red wines that the family produces in different D.O`S in Spain. Each wine will be paired with a menu created especially by our chef, designed to highlight its character and elegance.
